The scanner doesn't work properly when I press the button. What should I do?

Please try the following steps:

  1. Make sure the scanner is turned on.
  2. Make sure Plustek OpticFim 135i software is installed on your computer properly .
  3. Disconnect your scanner from your computer, then reconnect it.
  4. If you use a USB hub, please connect the scanner directly to the computer.
  5. Try a different USB cable.
  6. Make sure you do not use a USB cable longer than 5ft (1.5m).
  7. Try using a different USB port on your computer.
